VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. ZooCroc operates under the French small-business VAT exemption scheme: no VAT is charged and no intra-Community VAT number is issued to us. The price shown on each product page is therefore the final price, with no tax to be added.

Contacting us

ZooCroc has no telephone service: so that every request leaves a written record, all enquiries are handled in writing.

Response time: 24 to 48 working hours, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. For any question about an order in progress, please quote your order number: your request will be handled as a priority.

Prices, shipping costs and payment

All prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes. As ZooCroc benefits from the French small-business VAT exemption, no additional tax is added to the displayed price. Any applicable shipping costs are announced before the order is confirmed and included in the total payable shown at checkout: you therefore know the final price, shipping included, before confirming your purchase. Standard delivery is free in mainland France, with no minimum purchase; Express is €1.99 (free from €45). Shipping costs are €9.99 within the European Union (free from €80) and €29 to the other countries we serve. Payments are secured by Shopify Payments; ZooCroc stores no bank card data.

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without giving reasons and without penalty. Simply notify us of your decision by e-mail or using the model withdrawal form reproduced in our return policy. The products must then be sent back within 14 days of that notification, complete and in their original condition; return shipping costs are yours to bear. The refund is issued no later than 14 days after we receive the return, using the same payment method as the original order. Full details and model form: return and refund policy.

Statutory guarantees

Irrespective of any commercial warranty, ZooCroc remains liable for lack of conformity and for hidden defects:

  • Statutory guarantee of conformity — Articles L217-3 to L217-14 of the French Consumer Code. You have 2 years from delivery of the product to act. You may obtain repair or replacement of the item and, if that proves impossible or too slow, a price reduction or cancellation of the sale with a refund. Enforcing this guarantee is free of charge and, during that period, requires no proof on your part.
  • Guarantee against hidden defects — Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code. If the product has a hidden defect making it unfit for its purpose, you may choose between cancellation of the sale and a price reduction, within 2 years of discovering the defect.

All content on this site (text, images, logos, layout) is the exclusive property of ZooCroc or its partners and is protected by French and international intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation or exploitation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written authorisation.

Personal data — GDPR

Data controller: ZooCroc, 43 rue Jean Jaurès, 18500 Foëcy, France, represented by Kevin Fouchet, reachable at zoocroc.shop@gmail.com. No data protection officer has been appointed, as this is not mandatory for our activity; your requests are handled directly by the data controller.

Purposes and legal bases:

  • Managing orders, delivery, invoicing and after-sales service — performance of the contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
  • Creating and managing your customer account — performance of the contract.
  • Sending commercial communications (newsletter, offers, automated e-mails) — your consent (Article 6.1.a), withdrawable at any time via the unsubscribe link in each of our e-mails.
  • Audience measurement, statistics and site improvement — your consent for non-essential cookies; our legitimate interest for measurements strictly necessary to run the site (Article 6.1.f).
  • Payment security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest.
  • Compliance with our accounting, tax and legal obligations — legal obligation (Article 6.1.c).

Data processed: identity (first and last name), contact details (e-mail, delivery and billing address, phone number if you provide one), order and correspondence history, connection and browsing data. Card details are processed directly by our payment provider and are never disclosed to us.

Recipients: our technical and logistics providers, acting as processors and solely on our instructions — Shopify (store hosting, transactional and marketing e-mails), Shopify Payments (payment processing), our suppliers and the carriers delivering your parcel. Your data is never sold, rented or transferred to third parties for advertising purposes.

Transfers outside the European Union: some of our providers are established outside the European Union. Such transfers rely on the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

Retention periods: accounting records and invoicing data, 10 years (Article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code); customer account data, 3 years from the last contact; marketing prospect data, 3 years from the last contact; cookies and trackers, 13 months maximum.

Your rights: you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, to withdraw your consent at any time and to determine what happens to your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to zoocroc.shop@gmail.com or by post to the address above; we reply within one month at the latest. If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — https://www.cnil.fr.
